Active Art
When:
Thursdays - April 24 , May 1, 8, 15, 22, 10:30am-12:00pm
5 sessions - total £75
Where:
Sessions will be run by Charlie and Emma, from locations in and around Exeter, all accessible by public transport and in close proximity to public parking facilities. The first two sessions will be run from Exeter Quay.
What:
This project is run with support from Sport England. To get us moving, we will be doing art activities that will include creative and sensory exploration of our local environment. These activities will be planned based on individual needs and interests, but might include photography, nature collages, collaborative pieces and sketch book work.
Things to note about this project:
Moving through the environment will be an integral part of the session. We appreciate that on occasions, a Pelican may be reluctant to move as part of the group. In this case, we will provide an activity for them to complete with their carer, and we will all rejoin at the end of the session. This project is run with support from Sport England and we hope that physical activity will be central to your creative experience (the level and style of physical activity will be personal to your mobility needs). Travel and timings:
We will meet at our locations for 10:30am and return for 12 midday. You are welcome to bring a packed lunch to have after the session.
You can decide whether to travel with Emma and Charlie on public transport (they will provide times and locations to meet), or meet at the start point. Please note Emma and Charlie will need to be at the start point on time, so please bear this in time when deciding which option, as Emma and Charlie will not be able to wait beyond a certain time.
