Safeguarding
The Pelican Project (TPP) is committed to working in ways which ensure the safety and wellbeing of all Pelicans. TPP’s safeguarding policy is in place to protect anyone who works with The Pelican Project from harm, and to provide staff and volunteers, young people and their families, with the overarching principles that guide our approach to safeguarding. This policy and procedures apply to anyone working on behalf of The Pelican Project, including paid staff and the board of directors, freelance partners, volunteers and students. The safeguarding policy, which can be downloaded below, includes important information about understanding safeguarding, the procedures for reporting a concern, our code of conduct, and important contact details.
